The Ways to Use It challenge on Splitcoaststampers was to use stripes in the design of your card. My cousin, Natasha, has a birthday coming up on the 24th of Feb, so I did this card with her in mind. Since the colors seemed a little masculine I added a lot of bling with 2 types of glitter. I wish Dazzling Diamonds glitter photographed better!
Stamps: Party Hearty
Paper: Whisper White cs, Real Red cs, Old Olive cs, Baja Breeze Textured cs, Ski Slope DSP(retired)
Ink: Basic Black and Old Olive Classic Stampin' pad
Accessories: Circle Scissors plus, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Chunky Sprinkles glitter, Big Bold Cupcake sizzlet dies, Lots of Tags sizzlet dies, Scallop Circle #2, dimensionals, Real Red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon

LOVE IT! Party hearty! OH YES!
ReplyDeleteI really like the color combo. I think it is appropriate for either a guy or a gal. But the bling really does make it a gal card. Great job.
ReplyDeleteGreat card and challenge. Stripes are one of the hardest designs for me to work with. I am going to have to check out the gallery!
