This is the card that I came up with for Scott's anniversary card. It is an accordian fold card that I turned on its side. I used the Boatloads of Love and Baroque Motifs stamp sets. Guy cards are always so hard! He loves boating though so hopefully it isn't too girly for him! He has to spend the evening working on a 7 page paper for his masters class, so I probably won't even get to talk to him much tonight. Good thing we had such a wonderful time on Monday and Tuesday!
This card was inspired by a Christmas card by Diana Crick. Thanks for the idea Diana!

That was then....1993
I can't believe that it has been 15 years since we were married. This is just a snapshot someone took while the photographer was taking his pictures. I still love my bouquet! I didn't even see it until they delivered for the wedding. I took a sample of my bridesmaids dresses to the florist and told them I wanted a cascade bouquet and this is what they came up with.

Some designing
These are two Halloween cards I made with my new stamp set Eat, Drink & Be Scary. This set can be found in the Holiday Mini catalog.
I used a faux alligator skin technique on the black background on the cards. For a complete listing of the items I used to make the cards, please visit my Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator website via the link on the top right hand corner and visit my gallery. All images © Stampin' Up! 2008
Happy Anniversary day 2!
Scott arranged to have a classmate who is a pilot take us up in a 4 seat plane to view the fall colors. We got a little lesson in flying before we took off. It was really interesting to see how much is involved before you can even take off! I got some beautiful aerial shots of the Kansas landscape which will make a beautiful scrapbook page. I will make sure to post it when I get it finished.
I have the best hubby in the world! It is hard to believe that after 15 years he can still surprise me!

An absolutely wonderful evening
If you have never been to The Melting Pot... hunt one down and go! It is fabulous! Just the atmosphere alone is worth the trip.
Scott made arrangements to have a little room that was secluded from everyone else. They had a rose for me and an anniversary card on the table when we arrived. So romantic! I tried the Tipsy Turtle (pictured in the lower left hand corner of our photo) and it was worthy of the title. One really was enough for me, but Scott ordered me another! It was so wonderful to have a night without kids that we could chat and reconnect. Of course, the kids were the most popular topic of our chatting. At least they weren't interrupting while we were talking about them.

The Melting Pot
We are going to celebrate our 15th anniversary tonight. Our actual anniversary is the 30th of October but since we didn't think ahead to having children and them wanting to go trick-or-treating, we will be going out tonight! Scott found a restaurant that he thought we would enjoy. It is called The Melting Pot. I guess they are a nationwide chain, but I hadn't heard of them before now. I will let you know how it is.
