Another Crazy for Cupcakes Birthday Card

One of my awesome neighbors recently had a birthday and this was the card I made for her. I really seem to be stuck on pink and brown for this set. I know that Sarah loves those colors though, so it seemed fitting to use them on her card.

Happy Birthday Leslie

My step-sister-in-law is having a birthday today. I am hoping that this card made it to her. I know I stamped the card, put it in an envelope and put a stamp on it. I am just not 100% sure that it made it to the mailbox! I guess I will have to send her the link if she didn't get it to prove that I didn't forget about her! Have you ever done anything like that? How embarrassing!

Crazy for Cupcakes Birthday Card

I have been going back through my scans to see what I have forgotten to post and I came across this card. I made it in October for someone in my downline. The designer series paper is retired, but I liked the kind of old-fashioned candy stripe look that it gave the card.

Stamp sets: Crazy for Cupcakes
Paper: Pretty In Pink card stock, Very Vanilla card stock, Patterns Pack Designer Series Paper (retired hostess) and watercolor paper
Ink: Pretty in Pink Classic Stampin' pad, Close to Cocoa Classic Stampin' pad, More Mustard Classic Stampin' pad, Rose Red Classic Stampin' pad and Black Stazon
Accessories: Aqua painter, scallop border punch, Build a Brad, and 1/2" circle punch

A day of stamping

My friend Jeong Soo came over yesterday to try her hand at stamping. She was a very fast learner! She does beautiful paper folding, so the next lesson will be her teaching me!
These are the cards I came up with for her to try. I hadn't prepared anything before hand, so these were just off the top of my head. I wanted to keep things fairly simple so that she wouldn't feel overwhelmed and get frustrated. We had a limited amount of time before she had to leave to pick up her son from school so simplicity was really a necessity today. Maybe we will be able to spend a whole day on a weekend to get more done.
